That may be the problem. Enterprise's system may have been expecting an Enterprise Plus number there and when it didn't find out it just rejected it outright. Next time, confirm with the Enterprise rep (you have to stop at the counter at Enterprise anyway) that your National Emerald Club member number is attached to the reservation. Just because something works directly on Enterprise.com doesn't necessarily mean it will work via a different channel (the opposite can also be true--sometimes to your advantage).
