EVA Most definitely does check for the card if you've purchased directly from EVA, though they're pretty flexible on what they accept. One trip I lost track of which card I used and brought the wrong one (I don't travel with all my cards). Fortunately, I'm a weird person, and was able to rattle off the card number from memory and they accepted that.
