Questions about buying airfare from EVA directly and clearing customs for transfer?
I've never flown EVA before. I notice that when searching for EVA economy fares online, I notice that a lot of them are either V or W fares. If I were to book from EVA's website, I can just simply move up the fare class for a fee. I can't do that on Expedia or other OTAs. Do you guys normally book your EVA airfare directly from EVA's website? I'm assuming that besides Visa and Mastercard, EVA also accepts AMEX? I'm assuming all services and airfares purchased from EVA's website is coded as airfare or travel? Btw, I'll be crediting all of my EVA flights to OZ's program.
With regards to booking basic economy trans-pacific flights, what are the limitations compared to standard economy fares? I'm assuming at least one luggage under 50lbs? What about seat selection?
For economy trans-pacific flights, how many meals are usually provided? I'm guessing at least two meals so if it's overnight, then it'll be dinner and breakfast? All hot meals?
