This is a really tough location. My inbound flight was delayed and I didn’t get to hotel by Lyft until 2am. I was actually scared to get out of the car, with a number of folks loitering around the entrance. The driver took a turn around the block and they had gone by the time he circled back. He waited while I approached the hotel (construction out front). Front door was locked, no one at the front desk. I ran the security bell and hoped someone would buzz me in quickly. Thankfully they did.

No Titanium recognition at check in. Argued a bit with me when I asked for late check out. Upgrade was to a “larger” King room.

Hotel had old bones, but they did a good job renovating it. I hear this is being converted to an Autograph Collection once that’s wrapped up. No breakfast benefit, but the hotel is connected to Mel’s Kitchen next door. Great service and 10% off for hotel guests.

I would definitely not stay here again on the area alone.
