This stuff should be viewed as an aid or starting point, but if it matters you should verify details by looking at the T&C of the program to which the miles will be credited. Sometimes the calculations you see are out of date, don't reflect elite status or credit cards, or don't reflect nuances such as codeshares/ticket stock or minimum miles per segment for elites, premium cabin, and partner flights.
For most people, it's better to focus on one or a couple programs (often the program associated with the carrier that you fly most often) and then to find a good place (perhaps AS or perhaps one secondary program in each alliance) to credit other flights. It's useless to have orphan miles scattered across many programs or miles that expire before you can use them.
