No. It sounds you paid $330 per ticket (as it is within the range of YVR-JFK). You will need to deduct the tax and surcharges from the total price, so the effective airfare or MQD should be about $189. You should get 945 miles ($189 x 5) instead.
To be clear, I'm not saying SkyMiles are a valuable currency. It's just that DL is more than $100 cheaper than AC/UA so I see no reason to go with them. It's not a long flight. Even though I'm trying to earn status with *A, I can't justify spending more on such a flight.
