if on UA, no showers. Delta has them in their lounge, but you can’t pay to access unless flying delta, and ua’s Gates are not accessible. Freshen up is the only option, but as you note is outside of security. You can come and go, does not impact your checked bags, you just need to be aware of how much time getting back into security takes at that hour.
