I mostly got off the AA loyalty program hamster wheel long before AA could make me into its fool; but if I hadn’t and thus felt burned by AA, I would probably hope that others wouldn’t over-invest themselves into the AA loyalty program game and repeat the mistakes of the past.
yes of course he got his SWU's at every milestone but again those were the same every time, nothing new, which is what I said. I probably should have pointed out that I realized he got the upgrades but I'm puzzled if he thought he was suddenly going to get some new permanent upper level lifetime status for million after million after million miles, and when he didn't, he kept flying them anyway and is now PO'd. It just seems like sour grapes
