Maybe this made sense when people were literally sleeping on a blow up mattress in a studio apartment or sharing someone's car on the way to work, but now these companies are the same as New York City Taxis or Marriott.
Uber is not the same as a NYC taxi — Taxi and limos commission regulates the type of car for a taxi, the color, the number of taxis allowed....Uber mostly has drivers with personal vehicles; they do not have to drive yellow cars but cars have to be approved by Uber — and Uber cannot did Street hails.
I am self employed in professional services and certainly do fire customers or do not take them to begin with after talking to colleagues. Should the self employed Uber drivers not have that choice?
