May help to know time of year to be more specific but typically for the most part (when the sun is up):
EWR-NRT departing 11am, sun will be on the left.
NRT-EWR departing 5pm, sun will be on the right

I use the Photo Pills app to calculate sunset/angles for photography but its also useful to figure out sun position for flight since I like to look out of the window on the opposite side from the sun. There will be plenty of other apps/websites to figure this out.
