So on leaving Le Meridien on Surawong to BKK the other day, when I get into the cab I notice the meter is already at 39 Baht.
I asked the driver twice to restart the meter, when he refused I got out and asked the doorman to get me another cab.
His tip would have been much more than the amount he tried to scam me for. When will they stop playing these silly games?
