Can't say I have had the same issues so YMMV. Only small issue I have had in all my years of holding the card is that a charge at a RR property didn't post with the correct number of points per $1 spend so I had to call in and that was corrected immediately. (got 5 points per $1 but not the additional 5 for Radissson family hotels charges)
I've probably jinxed myself now that I said this because I got the offer that if I spend $500 per month for May, June and July that I would get 20k bonus points. Will see if that posts correctly when the timeframe after the promotional period passes.
Did your annual fee post? If so, you should get the annual 40k a couple of weeks after you pay.
