I just spent a few minutes picking random dates between July 31st and September 30th. All DL Metal on the dates I picked for nonstop SEA-ICN flights were B767-300ER's. If there is a few dates within the August dates, they would be only substitutions (which is a possibility). If this route needs extra seating capacity (beyond 208 seats) then Delta may look at a change in their schedule until October 1st, which doesn't appear to be happening.
mridley said "DL170 ICN-SEA". Clearly a typo, a quick search for DL170 shows that he meant ICN-MSP, which is a 777.
