Your husband is in for Ship Heaven: When we transited the Suez, our ship arrived before sunrise at the entrance. We were one of many ships of all sizes and shapes that were queuing, awaiting the "starting gun" so we could begin the transit. It was really amazing to see all the ships milling about at the entrance area.
