My personal favorite are the Howard Leight ear plugs. I happen to use LL-30 Laser Lite, but there are lots of other alternatives. Corded works well for me, since I can pull one out to answer a FA, and then put it back without dropping and losing. They are disposable and cheap. A pack of 100 is under $20 on Amazon. For sleeping, the non-corded ones do have the advantage of not accidentally pulling them out by catching the cord on something.
