There is so much more to Oahu than just Waikiki. It is a popular sport on this forum by the ‘cool kids’ to dis Waikiki but that is a very narrow view of all that Oahu has to offer. That is like saying I can only handle Hilo for a day ergo the Big Island is not worth visiting. Give me a break. There is so much to see and do on Oahu that is not Waikiki.

By all means, visit other islands. They are all unique and special in their own rights. But don’t put anyone down for wanting to stay on Oahu for 2 weeks just because you don’t like Waikiki and/or don’t choose to experience the rest of Oahu.
