Big island has 2 airports, Hilo (ITO) and Kona (KOA). Kona is the larger of the 2 airports. SW has interisland flights currently starting at $39 with 2 free bags, but I don't think they are flying to the Big Island yet. Their schedule is limited, and Hawaiian matches their fares at the limited times SW flies, but does not match the 2 free bags.
If you want to keep it Hyatt, consider splitting the trip into 3 parts, HR Waikiki, HR Maui or Andaz Maui, GH Kauai. 15 days in Waikiki and you're missing the rest of the islands, and IMO that's too long in Waikiki. It's not that difficult to fly interisland with your stuff if you break up the trip properly and you can end with a night back in Waikiki if you want to catch the widebody flight home out of HNL.
Do you have status with Hyatt?

lol .. is that like saying once you get outside Sydney, the rest of Australia is all the same? And don't bother visiting Melbourne, it's the same as Sydney? And NZ? Except for the sheep, it's the same as Australia?
For a better varied perspective on the different islands, consider asking in the Hawaii forum here on FT.
