We were planning more island hops but were going to keep the HR Waikiki as our base for the entire trip so that we can leave most of our stuff in the room and not have to check in/out.

You have been going there for 45 years, this is our first trip and we will be leaving MN Winter so I doubt we will be looking to leave Hawaii, lol

We were going to use Uber in Waikiki but rent a car for Maui and other islands we visit.
