Yup! To visit Parrot Cay, you had to deal with some trade offs (same goes for Yara). Time will tell but if all goes to plan, based on what I heard then I think Parrot Cay could really place itself at the top of the competition. Basically, I got the impression that the owners are behind Tapa's vision for a improvements and willing to aggressively invest in them, so that certainly goes a long way.
Also have only had great feedback from clients at Cap Juluca (since re-opening). I'm heading there next week as well

I've actually heard the service at CJ is getting noticeably better (for Caribbean standards). Had clients at CJ 3 weeks ago with strict dietary requirements and all departments were on their A game with it. Not a single mess up. On the flip side, when I did visit Yara (2016 or 2017, I think), service was very iffy. If I had an European or Asian (usually from Philippines there) staff then service was impeccable like the Aman etho. If it was a local staff, then I was in for a ride
But let's see how things may have improved with Ian's arrival. Even if it's only been 2 months

Of course it'll take some time but I can't imagine things wouldn't get much better at Yara with him steering the ship. Assuming he has support from corporate/owners (which obviously plays a big role). There's only so much a GM can do if his/her hands are tied.
