Confused about price difference after reserving
Hey knowledgeable ft peeps - I figured this was a good place to ask a question, I have a booking that I keep checking for price fluctuations, and I can see a $50 less price when creating a new booking - great, but when I come to reserve it, it adds on about $40 per week (2 week booking) and the booking ends up at $30 more than my current booking (the weekly price changed, and sometimes it swaps one week to 7 days with the extra cost shown there). I've tried with and without coupons and removing my club id (via the app) - I initially thought it was some kind of pay at counter fee gouging, but on the app their isn't even an option on mine to select pay at counter (just the payment card, which is used to guarantee the booking). I also tested removing payment cards, but that removed aisle access so prices weren't comparable.
One interesting thing is, via the us app, and the uk website the exact same happens (same price as well), via the us website the price is about $500 more. Also both websites don't appear to be filling the contract id (for club) and there's no 10% club discount showing (only if I book via the app) but the price on the uk website is the same anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Just thought I'd ask if anyone knows why this is...I can hit up support, and while they've been pretty good - you tend to get a different answer every time you ask, and I haven't seen them be able to alter prices as the response is often - just saying that the websites/app is correct!
