What are you objectives form a ffp? Just award flights?

Earning double the qualifying QPoints requirement each year, IMHO you should have been crediting some of the extra flights to another ffp.
Thanks - and yes, the US-MidEast flights on QR do continue - I'm a rotational Oil and Gas worker so flying every 28 days one way or the other. Company books and pays for flights (would be nice if I could pay them myself for a double bonus on cc and claim back....still, can't complain).

So yes as stated primary objective is maximizing mileage earnings for my own personal travel (which now has changed to domestic US and UK).

My Plat status date just passed in May - and because of the excess QPoints, immediately qualified for the following year also, so I've effectively secured that for 2 years.

So yes, as you say and what has been said above, I now believe it's time for me to start crediting elsewhere, which would either be AA or BA - and because my main residence is now back in the US, I think AA it is.
