Similarly, converted at 3 to 1 to Uber credit a couple of days ago (my favoured transfer was to RedSpottedHankey also at 3 to 1, until this stopped a few months back).
At the usual rate of £2.50 to 600 Avios, valuing Avios at 1p each, you get 2.4 Avios to per penny (0.42p each).
With this promotion, if I’ve done my sums correctly £2.50 gives 840 Avios. That’s 3.36 Avios per penny, or about 0.3p each.
If you can get 1-2 pence of value per Avios (eg with a 2-4-1 voucher), this seems like a decent return.
