Up to recently, I have always booked domestic flights using my American Airlines Miles. Now for the first time, I am going to Mexico City, via DFW, from Washington Dulles Airport. (At the mileage saver rate economy class.)
According to the AA website, there is a $30 fee for my bag if I fly economy class and pay cash for my ticket on flights to and from Mexico from the USA. Is the baggage fee also charged if I use my frequent flyer miles for the ticket, at the mileage saver rate? (Baggage fees for award travel.)

(I spent a half hour googling this question and got nowhere.)
I’m not seeing that Mexico baggage fees are limited to MileSAAver economy award or purchased economy tickets. For one to four checked bags, it’s $30, $40, $150 or $200. Status does grant 1-3 checked bags, depending on status held. Credit cards don’t include a bag internationally. For one checked bag up to 50 lbs, I believe you’ll be charged USD $30.
