(1) Hotels used to provide the STARS breakfast amenity when booking a Members Only rate through a STARS agency. That has changed... To get STARS amenities, you need to book the STARS rate code. The Members Only rate is a 2% discount, and the value of the breakfast + $100 welcome credit will far exceed the value of the discount.

(2) STARS bookings definitely receive Bonvoy points.
