This is different - I'm referring to close-in space. Historically CX was very reliable in releasing [available F seats less 1] to partner awards ~14 days out on most flights (see wiki). This has definitely changed in the past few months for US<->HKG routes as flights are routinely going out at F4, F5, etc.
