I haven't seen this discussed anywhere else, but I have been looking for close in F space on the US<->HKG routes for at least 6 weeks and have not seen a single seat. (In fact the one seat I did see open happened ~2 months out.) Multiple flights at F4+, plenty at F5 (though not many truly empty cabins).
Seems worth sounding the alarm.
