It's been gone for quite a few years. We stayed there about 5-6 years ago and it was already terrible. It was being run into the ground by poor maintenance and worse management.
Hilareously, when they left they thought they could call it the Century Four Points which they did for a while before (I guess) SPG's lawyers came knocking at the door and it became simply the Century (reflecting the length of time it goes between refurbishments). I believe it's the same owners as the similarly run-down and also deflagged Four Points and Sheratons in Langkawi.
Interestingly, I met the guy who was once the GM here for its opening. He's been around many (now) Marriott hotels in the region. Didn't have much good to say about its ownership.
On the other hand, the Four Points in Sandakan across the other side of Borneo is great. Really nice hotel and well maintained and run.
