Just thought I'd post some feedback here about Hotel Albergo.

I've got some pictures and some longer feedback on my site here: https://www.sojournsof.me/home/hotel...bergo-beyrouth

In short, we loved this property. Whilst it isn't a Four Seasons and is completely different in style to the Le Grey (which at least from outside looked a bit stale), this was probably one of the most charming boutique places I've stayed in. Sure, the style is a bit quirky, but it's individual and old fashion done well (in my opinion). We really liked the quiet neighborhood location which was not a far walk from anywhere.

They're extending the hotel and will add a new wing with a number of new rooms and facilities. Hopefully they don't lose any of their boutique charm.

Unfortunately we only had a night here (we had to change our plans and return home early), however, we're looking to book back here in October for a longer four-night stay.

Also - if in Beirut, put Liza Restaurant on your list. It's literally around the corner from Albergo and the Lebanese food was outstanding.
