Thanks NM for your tips. I actually don't mind the window seats despite having to step over someone's legs if they are asleep. I'd rather not be disturbed I guess is the selfish reason! I don't mind sitting back wards either.

It's a shame BA doesn't fly to Brisbane anymore as that's my home town (living in London for last 9 years). But I must admit I do prefer Qantas' meals to BA's. I like their soup starters most of the time and had some very tasty meals. On BA I've learnt to avoid the English Breakfast. I've had way better meals in Economy, even on BM, KLM, and NW! I also find that if you have a rice dish, the uppermost layers of rice are dried out on BA.

But food is secondary to comfort - I'll take New Club World seats over cuisine anyday!

Can't understand why you'd be downgraded from CW to WT because of a change of equipmemt. I thought there were more CW seats in the old config anyway!
