when I looked online earlier in the week the difference came to about USD $2.80 for the cash rate of a room with breakfast as opposed to one without. I called last night asking if there was a way to pay up and the reservation center said no can do.
When staying at the Marriott Sky City in HKG on the outbound we were given lounge access for being a gold member as a courtesy when asked about breakfast arrangements.
