Uber and Ola are available. At peak times waiting time from landing can be 45 mins from arriving at the gate. I have never tried the ride later option which could be OK, if sure when taxi is required. The Airport taxis are good (better than either of the above in my opinion). Generally I am met by the company vehicle, but late at night I sometimes book a taxi inside airport. There are many choices, waiting time 2-3 mins (if one has no vehicles go to the next) and cost about INR 1,600 including toll to the centre.

Are there any guidelines regarding getting an airport taxi at BLR? Are there obvious places in arrivals to book a legitimate airport taxi? (The concern is the possibility of arriving tired from a long flight and being approached by people touting unofficial taxis.) Where should my wife head to and what should she look out for when coming through arrivals?
