The customer commitment plan offers a 24 hour change fee waiver..but not a refund.
Agents should never be calling customers back unless there is an ongoing issue to resolve.
This was definitely not a normal situation. If you're feeling uneasy or concerned in any way, I'd recommend dropping an email to the Res office with as much of the detail as you can remember.
