Grand Hyatt Macau is on the list of hotels exempted from providing late checkout.
my flight today leaves just before midnight from HKG, so would have appreciated late checkout.

I contacted my concierge 2 days before checking in and asked if I could have a 6pm checkout, willing to pay a partial room rate.

she came back to me after having spoken to the manager.
they cannot offer 6pm even with payment, as hotel is full. i confirmed that today. not a single room available.
but they did confirm 4pm in advance. it was stated on my checkin folio and now also selectable for app checkout!

Great service, really appreciated. and I can even use the lounge this evening before the ferry leaves 7.45p.
