I'm in almost the same bucket. But I'm weaning off UA slowly, and have only been using the Presidential Plus card to make status the past 2 years, as well as occasional United Club access.

I'm simply no longer interested in United, as they are just way too expensive out of EWR. And the United clubs are so crowded and dirty everywhere that I don't even bother in most of the larger airports anymore.

At this point, "loyalty" to United seems like pretty much of a waste, as I just don't fly as much for business as much as I used to, and don't miss it.

And that Presidential Plus "benefit" of companion Business class was only for full price, which almost always turned out to be more expensive than just buying 2 discounted Biz class tickets on the website.

We've moved back toward AA, which is a bit goofy as we have to go to the NYC airports to really use them, but LGA and JFK have so much more competition that its usually 10-50% less for the same flight.
