I have had this happen before. While I don't have an explanation, I know what fixed the problem for me. In my situation, I had been previously logged in the prior day of my flight. Instead of opening a new browser, I attempted to enter the information again and log in. I kept getting the message to see an agent.

After completely re-booting the computer, I was able to get my boarding pass without a problem.
