My other half's family who live North of Clark refuse both Cebu and Clark. And it saves a good 3 hours journey time.

I have stayed locally on business a few time. The International standard hotels are OKish by Philippines standards. But the price saving unless £300+ is not enough to justify CRK over MNL. And when I checked yesterday ex MNL to UK was cheaper.
