OK, let's fix this. SLC is my home aiport.


This is a new airport. It's on different land (well, different dirt, adjacent to the old terminal so maybe same "lot" and yes broader location). I believe ALL of the existing public terminal structures (ok, excluding non-public ones like offices, maybe) will be razed. Currently they are building the new structures(buildings), have been for over a year. They will open the new structures and close the old ones. So, different than MIA Terminal D&E (my most recent compare), but also different than DEN.


So, it's not a remodel, not at all.


True, the runways remain the same.
