We’re setting off tonight to drive from Heathrow area where we live to Gatwick, for a 6.15am flight to Malta.
I’ve booked valet parking so it should be straight forward to just drive up to the airport and dump my suitcase at the First desk then head through security. I’m assuming it’ll be open at 4am or so ?
Is it worth, or even possible, to have breakfast in the lounge ? We’ve got CE tickets but the food can be hit and miss (both vegetarians). And the lounge opens at 5, so I’m not sure if we’ll even have time.
The other month we were told our flight to Sicily departed from a gate that was far from the lounge, except it literally was a 5 minute walk away, maybe not even that.
Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
