Update after the flights and addressing some points mentioned:
- lounge - no problem going over to A but when the check in agent says we don’t have a lounge and are boarding in 5 min and next to you is a charter flight to Egypt checking in do you want to take your chances? Admittedly it was the first time doing this and luckily there was no line at security or immigration but C terminal at TXL can have long security queues sometimes.
- airport issues - yes the lack of seating etc. my issue is with the fact BA use C terminal for this flights. I love A terminal and the efficiency of everything there even if it’s outdated. But using a low cost terminal instead of a full service one is totally up to BA
- fly EasyJet - yeah ok but I wanted a premium service. Inflight was great, and in this case mainly chose LCY for the efficient immigration on arrival to avoid T5 at LHR. The ground product was lacking and BA could have done a better job on that
-priority luggage - actually works sometimes

at TXL I saw them load bags and they left all priority tagged bags to the end. And these arrived first at LCY on the belt.
