As discussed via email, please be kindly clarified that under Vietnamese Regulations, for a Vietnamese Citizen to share a Hotel room with a non-Vietnamese Citizen, then marriage certificates are required. I am disappointed that I was unavailable last night to speak directly with you and your husband.
When your travel plans bring you back to Ho Chi Minh City, we hope that you will once again return to the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers as this will enable us to show you that this isolated incident is not indicative of the usually high level of service we offer.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the warmth and hospitality of the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers in the not too distant future.
With warm regards,

General Manager
Hi Scott,
Could you provide the relevant Vietnamese law where this is the case?
Why is this policy not disclosed anywhere when making a booking at the hotel?
