Thanks for the advice, I waited until yesterday to see for sure that I would be downgraded, I was so I decided to send a PM as suggested.
While I was typing I got this e-mail from BAEC:
Welcome to your new tier
Dear Mr. Lecter,
It's always great to get a little good news. So you'll be delighted to hear that you've now moved up to a new tier of the Executive Club.
So I was downgraded in the morning and upgraded in the afternoon.
(and they let me keep the TPs from this period)
