On one occasion (and I do not seek to minimise this), he tried to get two Bus Class tickets to ORD. He held on the phone for over 23 minutes one Saturday...this was on the premium line. In the end in desperation, he drove to T4 and bought them there taking a risk. (AA, I might add, had answered on the third ring so he knew that he would get away). I have no idea why TODs now attract a fee..I would refuse to pay it, and I'm glad that you did.

With that sort of nonsense, I wonder why anyone bothers. All these call centres are now answered by Scots. Talk about outsourcing.
