I had an incident last week, I reclined and the person behind said the space was too small, I suggested he move to another seat. he call the Cabin crew and said he could not see the seat back screen, they suggested he more to another seat, however he declined as he likes an aisle and only middle was available. Come, on, please tell me why I should compromise my comfort when he would not compromised his. No one likes to be reclined into, my solution is to recline also ! I have never. ever objected to a recliner
I'm not saying that reclining in itself is inconsiderate. I'm saying that being considerate is checking first and being polite about it. This costs nothing regardless of whether you're on a 45 minute short haul or in the middle of a 3 day itinerary.

I wouldn't move in your example above either. A middle seat is a whole lot worse than dealing with reclining from the seat in front.
