Sorry, I agree with you on many things but the extended nature of your itinerary does not confer carte blanche to dispense with consideration for fellow passengers.
Just as you would expect to be left alone after your 12 hour flight from Latin America, so would the passengers around you hope to be enjoying a quiet flight without disruption too.
Give and take on both sides, that is all that this needs.
How on earth is it inconsiderate to recline the seat in the way it was designed to ? There was only one person causing disruption !
I had an incident last week, I reclined and the person behind said the space was too small, I suggested he move to another seat. he call the Cabin crew and said he could not see the seat back screen, they suggested he more to another seat, however he declined as he likes an aisle and only middle was available. Come, on, please tell me why I should compromise my comfort when he would not compromised his. No one likes to be reclined into, my solution is to recline also ! I have never. ever objected to a recliner
