The airlines are making their own beds at this point. I used to think it was simply passengers overreacting, and often it still is, but as service levels deteriorate and passengers are increasingly treated like dirt, it wont be surprising to see more people lose their tempers. Massive queues, lack of staff manning counters, being herded around during boarding, cramped seats with no food or drink provided, it all adds up.
