I simply don’t get B2Bs unless you have no choice. To me it is tempting Providence. I go by the maxim that whatever could go wrong will go wrong. Italian Airports tend to be models of inefficiency and CTA is no exception. Spend at least one night. You won’t be disappointed. I write this from the town of Fiumefreddo which is close to Taormina so CTA I have experienced. We landed at 7.30 and there was one person at Passports. Everyone else seemed busy posing and preening and utterly indifferent to the fact that a queue was forming. I was first off after HI and we were through in a jiffy. Others probably were not so fortunate.
