You should be able to get into a prem lux suv like a Range Rover, Q7, or Navigator. Seem to be plenty of those at BOS.
as others have noted the lines between the aisles and also between the three brands can be somewhat blurred... in the past the rule as i understood and experienced it was that if the keys were in the car and there was no ‘upgrade’ tag, it was fair game for EE rentals... but recently the enterprise influence is really becoming much more evident, and i was charged some stupid upgrade fee of like $35 a day to drive an evoque despite that it was less well-equipped than some of the other , non-“luxury” suv’s i've driven over the years. additionally, fwiw, i’m a local renter and just discovered that evidently there is a possibility of having the extra airport fees waived , i guess it involves going to the counter and telling them i didn’t arrive by plane ? anyone have any info or success with this? it’s in the emerald master rental agreement but i don’t think that’s part of the GRILL so i don’t know if employees are even familiar with it as a policy. am gonna give it a shot later today, so we’ll see how it goes. would be interested to hear if anyone else who rents here often has noticed changes in the past year or so..? i know that’s a different subject but if anyone has anything to add , let me know and i can start a new thread .. til then, take care
oh and thanks everyone. i learn so much from reading your discussions here but i don’t always have much to add, just wanted to make sure you know that i and i’m sure many fellow lurkers are very appreciative of all the info , insights, and experiences that you share. hoping to have more to add someday soon but for now can’t seem to get anything off the ground
