I have two round trips to Bangkok booked in business class between now and February. I got my business class upgrades because of the knowledge I gained from Flyertalk (mostly) and from Inside Flyer. I also don't hesitate a second before writing that check to renew my subscription. Knowing how to work my frequent flyer programs is worth a lot more than $45 a year.
