American keeps dropping a flight from a held itinerary (resolved)
I'm trying to book a roundtrip itinerary from RDU -> EDI. I go through all the steps on aa.com and it all looks fine:
Outbound is RDU -> LHR -> EDI
Return is EDI -> LHR -> RDU
On both of these the LHR/EDI parts are through British Air.
If I put this reservation on hold, just to confirm it all, when it emails me the details it drops out the EDI -> LHR part of the return, so it shows me:
RDU -> LHR -> EDI
LHR -> RDU
If I view the reservation on aa.com, the flight is similarly gone.
I've tried a few different dates just to see if it's something odd with the date I picked, but it keeps doing it.
What's going on? I'm leery of just paying without the hold worried that it'll do the same thing.
Anyone seen this sort of behavior before?
