Is Denver historically quite a high fare route? Been looking at a paid F trip in March 20 and (unlike lots of other US routes) never see it in any sales or with reasonable fares.
One of the offered 2 stop routings via ORD (albeit almost a 19 hour trip) was half the price. I suppose it all comes down to what willing to pay for a lower frequency direct route.
The other issue is whether you lose some F ground benefits as its a T3 departure (as will be on domestic connection via T5).
